The Story Behind Peach Soleil

We spend a majority of the year dreaming of summer. Few things compare to the warm sunny days, carefree adventures, and the pure bliss that comes with the season. To celebrate summer this year, we’re unveiling our first-ever limited edition summer scent: Peach Soleil! 🍑 Reawaken summer memories with one whiff of Peach Soleil, a cheerful mix of juicy peach, farm-fresh flowers, and sparkling citrus. 

Inspiration Behind Peach Soliel

Alongside Firmenich (the largest fragrance house in the world!) and Ann Gottlieb (the nose behind your favorite Curie scents) we were able to bring Peach Soleil to life! But before the scent scientists at Firmenich began mixing up the fresh notes, Ann and I spent months brainstorming what the perfect summer scent would smell like.

Ann had a desire to create a bright summertime fragrance for Curie that would encapsulate the cheerful energy of the season. And, fun fact, Curie customers also requested something light and fresh that would make them feel good all summer long! With this info in tow, we landed on our favorite summer treat — peaches! 🍑 Truly, is there anything that screams summer more than a fresh juicy peach!? 

The Peach Soleil Creation Process

The idea for Peach Soleil sparked six months ago (perfection takes time 😉). From there, Ann and the master perfumers at Firmenich got to work mixing the fruity note with other fresh elements, like wildflowers, citrus, woods, and more. While many of our scents go through dozens of iterations, we nailed down the final scent in about six tries!

Right off the bat, you can catch whiffs of ripe peaches before the scent lightens and brightens with sweet solar florals and a hint of sparkling bergamot. A simple swipe will give you the confidence to dive into any summer adventure, whether you spend a day on the beach, decide to go on an impromptu trip, or are getting ready for a first date.
